One more minute

Hunt the item

Imagine a game that makes you hunting digital “items” through different wireless hot spots. By melting digital and “real” world gaming will build a new layer of experience.

But I would be happy not be murdered in a bus by somebody shouting “Damn, kill that ORK” at me.

Japanese Google Zombies

The Last Guy is a Zombie-Action-Game for PS3 – with absolutely no blood involved. You are looking at a town in the typical Google Maps-Style – up from above. Zombies roam the streets. Your mission is to lure out the frightened inhabitants and take them to a safe zone. People start to follow you, when you get near them. The problem is: 1000 people following make pretty long queue – a lot of fresh meat for the zombies. Highly addictive, lovely gameplay and a great tune.

Next step: I want this game playable in my browser. In my street. On Google Maps. Pleez?

Arcade Ambience

My Soundtrack of the 80ies was a healthy mix of new wave, pop, heavy-rock and the blips of “Space Invaders”. As arcades have completely vanished, the Arcade Ambience Project seeks to preserve the noise they made.

Most of the games were created from MAME. Careful, the 65-Minute-Mixes contain samples of Asteroids, Astroblaster, Berzerk, Centipede, Crazy Climber, Crushroller, Defender, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Galaga, Galaxian, Gorf, Missile Command, Moon Cresta, Mousetrap, Ms Pacman, Pacman, Phoenix, Qix, Rally X, Scramble, Space Invaders, Spectar, Tempest, Venture and Wizard Of War.

No less than an instant time-warp.

Design your creatures. Then extinct them.

Today will see the launch of Spore, a complex and funny simulation by “The Sims”-Designer Will Wright. You design the creature you like – i.e. a cow with earlobes, just one legs and a cute set of mandibles – and drop it in an ecological enviroment. Now you can control it from the prehistoric stages to space age. Ideal for unusual presentations and a lot of wasted time.

Oh – and make that cow a carnivore. Seems to be more interesting.
